A Conversation with David Klein, ASC

Thursday, May 25, 2017

2:00 pm — 4:00 pm

You are invited to the ASC Clubhouse for an exclusive Coffee & Conversation with featured guest David Klein, ASC,

Klein will discuss his work on the Showtime hit series HOMELAND.

The spy thriller series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA officer with bipolar disorder, and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper turned al-Qaeda sleeper operative. This story occupied the first three seasons after which Danes’ character has been stationed around the world , which took Klein and the production for a season in South Africa and Germany for 2 seasons before returning to the states in 2016. Much of our conversation will focus on Season 6, which sees Mathison living in Brooklyn and working at a foundation whose efforts are to provide aid to Muslims living in the United States. The season features a presidential election, and takes place between election day and inauguration day.

Klein’s other credits include
Clerks, Chasing Amy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Red State and the series True Blood, and Pushing Daisies He is a two-time Emmy Award nominee for HOMELAND.
